The Story
From Challenge to Delivered Boards
The Challenge
Fishing boards need accessory anchoring — rod holders, D-rings and crate zones — without compromising stability. The pack had to stay organized on board, and the packaging had to present the category clearly at retail.
Our Solution
A wide, stable platform with defined accessory zones, D-ring and bungee positioning for fishing gear, an organized pack with repair kit, and retail packaging developed under a single controlled program.
Controlled Delivery
Quality & Delivery Control Lines
Quality and Inspection Controls
Quality Basis:
Approved sample, technical specification, customer-approved BOM, artwork reference and packing requirements.
Inspection Focus:
- Accessory anchoring and D-ring placement verification
- Inflation and air-tightness verification
- Artwork and deck layout accuracy
- Pack completeness and accessory configuration
- Retail packaging and carton-marking verification
Issue Control:
Non-conforming items were placed under controlled hold and re-inspected after approved corrective action.
Evidence:
Batch-level inspection records and packing checks retained by project, linked to the approved sample and specification.
Production and Delivery Controls
Planning Inputs:
Approved sample · final artwork · accessory configuration · packaging readiness · confirmed order quantity.
Milestones:
Sample approval → production release → production scheduling → final inspection → packing verification → shipment preparation.
Delivery Readiness:
SKU configuration, labeling, manuals, barcodes, carton marking and packing quantity verified before shipment release.
Outcome:
Accessory layout and pack locked at sample stage; verified kits shipped.

- 2
Accessory layout
D-rings, bungees and storage zones positioned on the deck.
- 3
Sample approval
Stability and accessory anchoring verified on a physical board.
- 4
Program production
Defined quality checkpoints, pack verification and shipment release.
The Result
The configuration was confirmed on the approved sample — accessory anchoring, pack structure and packaging all aligned before production — and the program shipped with verified kits.
