The Story

From Challenge to Delivered Boards

The Challenge

No design team, no import experience and a first order too small for most factories — plus a launch date tied to the northern-hemisphere season.

Our Solution

ODM development from their concept on a proven platform, a 10 pcs trial run covering samples and supply verification, then a 200 pcs branded launch order with tooling kept for the brand.

Controlled Delivery

Quality & Delivery Control Lines

Quality and Inspection Controls

Quality Basis:

Approved sample, technical specification, customer-approved BOM, artwork reference and packing requirements.

Inspection Focus:

  • Artwork accuracy against the approved files
  • Air-tightness verification on the trial run and launch order
  • Packaging and carton verification — including the trial-run fix
  • Accessory and kit completeness

Issue Control:

Non-conforming items were placed under controlled hold and re-inspected after approved corrective action.

Evidence:

Batch-level inspection records and packing checks retained by project, linked to the approved sample and specification.

Production and Delivery Controls

Planning Inputs:

Approved sample · final artwork · accessory configuration · packaging readiness · confirmed order quantity.

Milestones:

Sample approval → production release → production scheduling → final inspection → packing verification → shipment preparation.

Delivery Readiness:

SKU configuration, labeling, manuals, barcodes, carton marking and packing quantity verified before shipment release.

Outcome:

Sold-out launch batch, packaging fixed pre-scale, reorder path in place.

  • Launch-date-aligned production scheduling

Process

How the Project Ran

  1. 1

    Concept call

Target rider, price point and launch date set the base platform.

  2. 2

    Trial run

10 pcs proved the product and packaging end to end.

  3. 3

    Launch order

200 pcs produced with the verified artwork and carton spec.

  4. 4

    Scale path

Tooling retained for the brand; reorders at improved pricing.

The Result

The first batch sold out within weeks of season start; feedback from the trial run fixed a packaging issue before the big order went into production.
