Built for the Fleet
Lake Tahoe Paddle Club, one of the largest paddle sports organizations on the West Coast, has selected Afarer as its exclusive SUP supplier for the 2026 season.
The selection followed a comparative evaluation across eight brands covering durability, stability, and value — Afarer's drop-stitch construction and complete kit approach (every board ships with the pump, paddle, and bag instructors need) were the deciding factors.
The fleet order includes 40 SUP Explorer 11 boards for beginner instruction and 20 SUP Tour 12 boards for distance tours. All boards are being deployed across the club's three Tahoe-area locations.
The SUP Explorer 11's 32-inch width suits first-time paddlers, with the club reporting faster student progression compared to the narrower boards used previously.
Afarer's fleet program offers volume pricing, dedicated support, and replacement parts availability —Key factors for organizations running high-utilization rental and instructional programs.
