The Story

From Challenge to Delivered Boards

The Challenge

Touring paddlers expect stability at speed and predictable glide, so the platform, dimensions and volume had to be reviewed before production. Artwork had to work around rails, EVA and valve positions, and every retail kit had to arrive complete across the range.

Our Solution

Platform and dimension review for touring performance, project-specific graphics aligned to board features, an accessory configuration covering paddle, leash and bag, retail packaging planning and controlled volume production with defined quality checkpoints.

Controlled Delivery

Quality & Delivery Control Lines

Quality and Inspection Controls

Quality Basis:

Approved sample, technical specification, customer-approved BOM, artwork reference and packing requirements.

Inspection Focus:

  • Inflation and air-tightness verification
  • Valve, rail and seam inspection
  • Artwork accuracy to the approved files
  • Accessory and kit completeness
  • Retail packaging, barcode and carton-marking verification

Issue Control:

Non-conforming items were placed under controlled hold and re-inspected after approved corrective action.

Evidence:

Batch-level inspection records and packing checks retained by project, linked to the approved sample and specification.

Production and Delivery Controls

Planning Inputs:

Approved sample · final artwork · accessory configuration · packaging readiness · confirmed order quantity.

Milestones:

Sample approval → production release → production scheduling → final inspection → packing verification → shipment preparation.

Delivery Readiness:

SKU configuration, labeling, manuals, barcodes, carton marking and packing quantity verified before shipment release.

Outcome:

Controlled sample-to-production path; graphics and packing locked before production.

Process

How the Project Ran

  1. 1

    Platform review

Touring dimensions, volume and rail profile matched to the target rider and market.

  2. 2

    Specification & artwork

Technical spec, artwork alignment and customer approval BOM prepared.

  3. 3

    Sample approval

Construction, graphics and kit confirmed on a physical board.

  4. 4

    Production & inspection

Volume production with quality checkpoints, packing verification and shipment release.

The Result

The range progressed from sample approval to shipment preparation under controlled product, artwork, BOM and packing documentation — the approved sample served as the reference for production and final inspection.
